The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) must, no later than 9 months after November 26, 2014, make rules or take other steps so that manufacturers of certain radiofrequency devices with screens can choose to show required labels and regulatory information on the device’s display instead of putting physical labels on the device. Electronic labeling = showing required labeling and regulatory information on a screen. Radiofrequency device with display = equipment that must be approved by the FCC before it can be sold in the United States and that can display required labeling digitally.
