Title 47 › Chapter 8— NATIONAL TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION ADMINISTRATION › Subchapter II— TRANSFER OF AUCTIONABLE FREQUENCIES › § 929
If the head of a federal agency thinks that telling the public about something in a report or notice required by sections 923 or 928 would reveal classified or other legally protected information, or would hurt national or homeland security, public safety, or a police investigation, they must tell the Assistant Secretary before releasing it. That information must be put in a separate annex to the report. The annex is given to the congressional subcommittee with main oversight under the proper national security rules. It must not be made public or given to anyone who is not authorized.
