Title 48 › Chapter 10— TERRITORIAL PROVISIONS OF A GENERAL NATURE › § 1494a
The President must send Congress a yearly report on how well federal agencies are stopping illegal drugs (controlled substances). The report must describe efforts and results for stopping drugs coming into the United States from U.S. insular areas outside the customs territory, the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands, and states freely associated with the United States, and for stopping drugs coming from other countries into U.S. territories, the Trust Territory, and commonwealths for local use or shipment to the United States, including the nature and amount of such illegal entry and use. The report must be sent to the Committee on Natural Resources of the United States House of Representatives and to the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources of the United States Senate by the first day of October each year.
