Title 48 › Chapter 11— ALIEN OWNERS OF LAND › § 1501
People who are not U.S. citizens, or who have not legally said they intend to become citizens, cannot get title to or own land in U.S. Territories. If a treaty lets foreign nationals hold or dispose of land, that right stays only while the treaty is in force.
