Hold the next general election in the Virgin Islands on November 2, 1954, to pick the entire legislature. After that, general elections must occur on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November, beginning in 1956 and happening every two years. The Municipal Councils of Saint Thomas and Saint John and of Saint Croix that existed on July 22, 1954 must keep operating until January 10, 1955. On that date, their duties, property, staff, records, and any unspent funds must be transferred to the government of the Virgin Islands.
