The Secretary will do regular financial and performance audits under chapter 75 of title 31, and the Surface Transportation Board must give the Secretary any requested information within 30 days. By August 1 each year, every rail carrier covered by part A of subtitle IV must send the Secretary a list of its rail lines that carried not more than 5,000,000 gross ton-miles of freight per mile in the prior year.
