Title 49 › Subtitle SUBTITLE VII— AVIATION PROGRAMS › Part A— AIR COMMERCE AND SAFETY › Subpart ii— economic regulation › Chapter 423— PASSENGER AIR SERVICE IMPROVEMENTS › § 42303
The Secretary of Transportation must create a public website that lists countries that might require insecticide spraying inside passenger cabins either before a flight or as an aerosol while passengers are on board. Airlines (including foreign carriers) and ticket agents selling, in the United States, tickets for flights to those countries must tell buyers — on their website or by other means — that spraying may be required and must direct them to the government website for more details.
