A pilot in command must not let anyone who does not have both a valid private pilot’s certificate issued by the Administrator under part 61 of title 14, Code of Federal Regulations and the appropriate medical certificate issued under part 67 of that title manipulate the flight controls. If the Administrator finds a pilot in command allowed this, the Administrator must issue an order revoking the pilot’s airman certificate issued under section 44703. "Pilot in command" is defined in section 1.1 of title 14, Code of Federal Regulations.
