Defines four key words used in the chapter. Airport property means a legal right in land or buildings used to run and care for an airport. Airway property means a legal right in ground sites, equipment, or facilities used to keep air traffic safe and orderly, like navigation, traffic control, communications, and weather facilities. Foreign territory means land where no government has sovereignty, or land under temporary U.S. military control, or land run by a foreign government under an international agreement. Territory outside the continental United States means land outside the 48 contiguous States and the District of Columbia.
