Title 50 › Chapter 3— ALIEN ENEMIES › § 23
After the President issues a proclamation, federal courts must act on complaints that an enemy alien living in their area is threatening public safety or breaking that proclamation or its rules. The court must arrest the person, hold a hearing, and if there is cause can order removal from the United States, require a bond for good behavior, place other restraints, or detain them until the order is carried out.
