§2515 Establishment of Center for Security Technology, Analysis, Response, and Testing

Summary

The Administrator for Nuclear Security must create a Center for Security Technology, Analysis, Response, and Testing inside the nuclear security enterprise (as defined in section 2501). The Center must give expert help on security tools, systems, analysis, testing, and response forces to the Administrator, the Chief of Defense Nuclear Security, and enterprise contractors. It must help set security standards and tests, collect and share lessons learned, support inspections and training, handle advance and bulk buying for shared security needs, push for ongoing security improvement, and do other tasks the Administrator gives.
