Title 50 › Chapter 43— PREVENTING WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION PROLIFERATION AND TERRORISM › § 2902
Defines what counts as preventing the spread of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and WMD-related terrorism. That includes activities done under certain federal programs named in section 1501(b) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1997 (Public Law 104–201; 110 Stat. 2731; 50 U.S.C. 2362 note), programs funded under section 3101(a)(2) of the Bob Stump NDAA for Fiscal Year 2003 (Public Law 107–314; 116 Stat. 2729), programs authorized by sections 5854 and 5902 of title 22, and similar agency programs the U.S. Coordinator and the agency head agree on. Says "WMD" means chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons and the materials used to make them. Says "items of proliferation concern" means equipment, materials, or technology on key export-control lists (the Nuclear Suppliers Group Trigger List and its dual-use Annex, and the Australia Group Common Control Lists) and any other sensitive items.
