The FBI Director must send a report to the congressional intelligence committees and to the Senate and House Judiciary Committees by 30 days after December 18, 2025, and once each year after that. Each report covers the fiscal year before the year the report is sent. Each report must say, for nine types of cases, how many were active, how many unique cases there were, and how many were opened. The nine types include Russia and China counterintelligence; espionage or leaks; other counterintelligence by country; cartel and other transnational criminal organization counterterrorism; other international counterterrorism by country; Russia and China cyber national security; and other cyber national security by country. The report must be unclassified but may have a classified annex.
