Title 50 › Chapter 45— MISCELLANEOUS INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY AUTHORITIES › Subchapter I— BUDGET AND OVERSIGHT › § 3301
The Director of National Intelligence must send Congress each year a multiyear intelligence program plan that shows estimated spending and requested funding. The plan must cover the budget year and at least four succeeding fiscal years, and it must be sent at or about the same time the federal budget is sent under section 1105(a) of title 31. The Director and the Secretary of Defense must make those estimates match the budget under section 1105(a) of title 31 and the future-years defense program under section 221 of title 10. The plan must go to these committees: Senate Committee on Armed Services, Senate Committee on Appropriations, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, House Committee on Armed Services, House Committee on Appropriations, and House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
