§3316 Submission of Intelligence Community Policies

Summary

The Director of National Intelligence must put all intelligence community policies that are not public into the electronic repository and send them to the congressional intelligence committees. Not later than 180 days after December 20, 2019, the Director must submit every nonpublic policy that is in effect on the submission date. If the Director creates, changes, or cancels a policy, the Director must notify the congressional intelligence committees and update the repository within 15 days. Electronic repository: the online system used as of December 20, 2019 (or its successor) for the DNI to send information to the congressional intelligence committees. Policy: any classified or unclassified intelligence community rules or guidance, such as directives, memos, official correspondence, or similar documents.
