Title 50 › Chapter 46— CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY › § 3513
You may not knowingly use the words "Central Intelligence Agency", the initials "CIA", the CIA seal, or close copies of them on products, in impersonations, solicitations, or other business uses if that would make people think the CIA approved it, unless the Director gives written permission. If the Attorney General thinks someone is doing or will do this, they can go to federal court to quickly get orders to stop it.
