Title 50 › Chapter 47— NATIONAL SECURITY AGENCY › § 3613
No one may knowingly use the words “National Security Agency,” the initials “NSA,” the agency seal, or any close imitation of them on products, while pretending to be the agency, in solicitations, or in any business way that would make people think the NSA approved it, unless they have written permission from the NSA Director. If the Attorney General thinks someone is doing or about to do this, the government can sue in federal court to stop it. The court must act quickly and can issue temporary orders or other actions before the final decision to prevent harm.
