Title 50 › Chapter 47— NATIONAL SECURITY AGENCY › § 3620
Within 30 days after the Director of the National Security Agency decides a covered intelligence collection or sharing adjustment happened, the Director must send the congressional intelligence committees and the Senate and House Appropriations Committees a short report. The report must explain what changed and why it changed. congressional intelligence committees — the committees identified in section 3003. covered intelligence collection or sharing adjustment — something the NSA does or fails to do that causes a big change in either the amount of intelligence collected about a foreign country, foreign group, or senior foreign leader, or in NSA rules or practices for sharing intelligence with foreign governments or international organizations.
