Title 50 › Chapter 49— MILITARY SELECTIVE SERVICE › § 3820
Guarantees anyone making a claim to a local or appeal Selective Service board a fair, quick, and informal hearing under rules the President may set. They can appear in person to speak and give evidence. They may call witnesses, but the board can limit how many and how long. Enough board members must be present during the appearance. If the board decides against them, it must give a short written reason if asked.
