Summary

Secretaries must give every service member under their control information about rights under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act. Members must get it at initial orientation; reservists must also get it when ordered to active duty for more than one year; and the Secretary can give it at other times. The Secretary may also give the information to adult dependents. The words "dependent" and "Secretary concerned" mean what section 101 of the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act says.
