Limits the fee for anyone who helps a claimant to 10% of the amount the agency allows on the claim, or a smaller percent the agency sets for certain types of claims. Any deal that tries to charge more is illegal and has no force. Anyone anywhere who pays, promises, offers, or receives more than the allowed fee is guilty of a misdemeanor. On conviction they can be fined up to $5,000, jailed up to 12 months, or both. If an overpayment was made, the agency will try to recover it, and the claimant loses all rights under this subchapter.
