Title 50 › Chapter 4C— ATOMIC WEAPONS AND SPECIAL NUCLEAR MATERIALS INFORMATION REWARDS › § 47b
The Attorney General must decide if someone who gives information to the U.S. government is eligible for a reward under section 47a and must set the reward amount. Before paying a reward, the Attorney General must consult with the Atomic Energy Commission. Any reward of $50,000 or more needs the President’s approval.
