Title 50 › Chapter 58— EXPORT CONTROL REFORM › Subchapter I— AUTHORITY AND ADMINISTRATION OF CONTROLS › § 4826
Existing rules, orders, licenses, decisions, and other government actions made under the Export Administration Act of 1979 or the Export Administration Regulations that were in effect on August 13, 2018 will keep working the same way. They remain valid until they are changed, replaced, overturned, or canceled under the new subchapter. Ongoing court cases or license applications that started under the old law are not changed by the new rules. Any decision made under section 6(j) still counts as if it were made under section 4813(c). Any law that refers to a country named under section 6(j) should be read as referring to that country under section 4813(c).
