Title 50 › Chapter 23— INTERNAL SECURITY › Subchapter IV— COMMUNIST CONTROL › § 843
Anyone who knowingly joins or stays in the Communist Party or any group that seeks to seize U.S. or state government by force must be treated under the Internal Security Act of 1950 and face its penalties. "Communist Party" means the Communist Party USA and its state or local units, even if renamed.
