Title 50 › Chapter 23— INTERNAL SECURITY › Subchapter V— REGISTRATION OF CERTAIN PERSONS TRAINED IN FOREIGN ESPIONAGE SYSTEMS › § 851
Except as provided in section 852 of this title, anyone who knows about, or has been trained or assigned to, spying, counter‑spying, or sabotage for a foreign government or foreign political party must register with the Attorney General. They must file two copies of a sworn registration form. The Attorney General will set rules about the form, how to file it, and what information or documents to include, while considering national security and the public interest.
