§40131 Aeronautics Scholarships

Summary

The Administrator must create a scholarship program for full-time graduate students who are U.S. citizens and are enrolled in or accepted to accredited master’s programs in aeronautical engineering or a similar field. Each scholarship must pay for housing, meals, tuition, and fees and can last up to 2 years. The Administrator must publish rules for the program not later than 180 days after December 30, 2005. Scholarship winners must be offered paid summer work at an Administration Center doing aeronautics research the summer before their first year and again before their second year, if applicable.
