The Administrator must create a scholarship program for full-time graduate students who are U.S. citizens and are enrolled in, or accepted to and planning to enroll in, accredited master’s programs in aeronautical engineering or similar fields. Each scholarship covers housing, meals, tuition, and fees for up to 2 years. By 180 days after December 30, 2005, the Administrator must publish rules for the program. Students who get a scholarship may be offered paid summer work at an Administration Center doing aeronautics research the summer before their first year and between the first and second years, if applicable.
