§40307 Space Grant Fellowship Program

Summary

The Administrator must run a space grant fellowship program to give educational and training help to qualified people at the graduate level in fields related to space. Fellowships will follow guidelines the Administrator creates and will be given to individuals at space grant colleges, regional consortia, other colleges and higher-education institutions, professional associations, and institutes so the awards reach many different places and types of schools. In any fiscal year, the program’s grants cannot be more than 50 percent of the total funds appropriated for that year under this chapter. The Administrator may still sponsor other research fellowship programs created under other authority.
