Within 180 days after the PROSWIFT Act becomes law, the NOAA Administrator, with the NASA Administrator and the NSF Director, must make an agreement with the National Academies to create a Space Weather Government-Academic-Commercial Roundtable. The roundtable will help government space-weather partners, scientists, and private companies share knowledge so they can improve space weather forecasting, better link research and operations, and strengthen preparedness for space weather events.
