The Commission must send a report every year by January 31 to the Committee on House Administration in the House and the Committee on Rules and Administration in the Senate. The first report was due in 2004. Each report covers the Commission’s work for the fiscal year that ended the previous September 30. The report must explain what the Commission did for each of its programs and give details on each grant or payment. It must include copies of all reports that grant or payment recipients were required to give the Commission, including reports from States that received requirements payments under subpart 1 of part D of this subchapter. The report must also show any voluntary voting system guidelines the Commission adopted or changed under subpart 3 of this part, and any voluntary guidance adopted under part B of subchapter III. It must list every vote the Commission took and may include any other information or recommendations the Commission thinks are appropriate.
