Title 52 › Subtitle Subtitle II— Voting Assistance and Election Administration › Chapter 209— ELECTION ADMINISTRATION IMPROVEMENT › Subchapter VII— MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS › § 21143
The Attorney General must review current criminal laws about election crimes to decide two things: whether new laws are needed to protect the use of the Internet for election activities, and whether existing punishments are strong enough to punish and stop those crimes. The Attorney General must send a report on that review to the Committees on the Judiciary of the Senate and House of Representatives, the Committee on Rules and Administration of the Senate, and the Committee on House Administration of the House of Representatives, and include any legislative or administrative recommendations the Attorney General thinks are appropriate.
