Title 52 › Subtitle Subtitle III— Federal Campaign Finance › Chapter 301— FEDERAL ELECTION CAMPAIGNS › Subchapter II— GENERAL PROVISIONS › § 30146
The Federal Election Commission can charge people to attend or take part in a conference it sponsors. Even if another law might say differently (section 3302 of title 31), the fees collected in a fiscal year must be added to the Commission’s money for that year and may be used that year to pay the costs of those conferences. This applies to fiscal year 2007 and every fiscal year after that.
