The Secretary may use qualified volunteers to help reduce wildlife numbers on System land when needed and allowed by law. Volunteers must meet any training, qualifications, and other rules the Secretary sets. The Secretary can allow the meat and other parts of animals taken during those wildlife actions to be donated or shared with Indian Tribes, qualified volunteers, food banks, and other groups that fight hunger. Donations must follow health guidelines and any conditions the Secretary requires.
