§200307 Availability of Fund Amounts for Publicity Purposes

Summary

Money from the sources listed in section 200302 cannot be used for publicity or promotion. If a major purchase or development begins, standard temporary signs should be placed at or near the site when possible. The signs can say the project was paid in part by the Fund, and may show the percent and dollar amounts from federal and non‑federal sources and that the funding includes amounts from Outer Continental Shelf receipts. The Secretary must make rules for how the signs look and are used.
