Title 54 › Subtitle Subtitle III— National Preservation Programs › Chapter 3071— MISCELLANEOUS › § 307103
Federal agency heads and public officials who get grants must keep from the public details about where a historic property is, what it’s like, or who owns it if the Secretary and the agency decide that sharing the details could seriously invade privacy, hurt the property, or stop people from using a traditional religious site. When information is withheld, the Secretary, with the agency, will decide who may see it. If the information came from work done under sections 306107 or 306108, the Secretary must also consult the Council.
