The Secretary can give matching grants and technical help to set up a network of government and non‑government groups. The network will create educational and visitor programs about national women’s rights history and help preserve related historic places. A non‑government manager will be picked by competition and must work with the Director and State historic preservation offices to run the network. Federal funds will pay 50% of costs; States may make matching preservation grants. $1,000,000 is authorized for each of fiscal years 2012 and 2013.
