§723 Metropolitan Medical Response Grant Program

Summary
Creates a Metropolitan Medical Response Program and requires it to exist. The program must keep the same goals and purposes it had on June 1, 2006. For fiscal year 2008, Congress approved funding equal to what the program got in fiscal year 2007, plus an extra $30,000,000.

(a)In general
There is a Metropolitan Medical Response Program.
(b)Purposes
The program shall include each purpose of the program as it existed on June 1, 2006.
(c)Authorization of appropriations
There is authorized to be appropriated to carry out the program for fiscal year 2008, an amount equal to the amount appropriated for the program for fiscal year 2007 and an additional $30,000,000.
