§136e Registration of Establishments

Summary

No one may make a pesticide covered by this law, or the active ingredient for such a pesticide, in any State unless the place where it is made is registered with the Administrator. The registration application must give the name and address of the establishment and the producer. After getting an application, the Administrator must register the establishment and give it an establishment number. Within 30 days after registration, the producer must tell the Administrator the types and amounts of pesticides and active ingredients the establishment is now making, made in the past year, or sold or distributed in the past year. That information must be kept current and sent each year as required by the Administrator. If asked for a stop sale order under section 136k, the producer must give the names and addresses of any recipients. All information sent, except the pesticide or active ingredient names, is confidential under section 136h.
