§1636a Unlawful Acts

Summary

It is illegal for any packer or other person covered by this subchapter, when giving information required under parts B, C, or D as the Secretary requires, to purposely do any of the following. They may not refuse, delay, or give inaccurate information to the Secretary (including estimates). They may not ask someone else to withhold or delay required information as a condition of a deal. They may not submit estimated data that repeatedly differs a lot from the actual information or from the Secretary’s audits.
