Title 7 › Chapter 43— FOREIGN MARKET DEVELOPMENT › Subchapter I— GENERAL PROVISIONS; AGRICULTURAL COUNSELORS AND AGRICULTURAL ATTACHÉS › § 1761
The Secretary of Agriculture must collect and share information about foreign demand, competition, and how U.S. farm products are sold and shipped abroad. The Secretary must study overseas factors that affect exports and may carry out foreign activities, like showing USDA quality standards for U.S. farm goods now or in the future. This does not stop the USDA from doing other overseas work it is already allowed to do.
