Title 7 › Chapter 54— TRANSPORTATION, SALE, AND HANDLING OF CERTAIN ANIMALS › § 2153
The Secretary must charge reasonable fees for licenses. The fees should be fair for the kind of operation being licensed and the money must go into the U.S. Treasury. Congress may provide funds as needed. To enforce section 2156, up to $100,000 was allowed for the transition quarter ending September 30, 1976, and up to $400,000 for each fiscal year after that for the Secretary of Agriculture.
