Title 7 › Chapter 84— NATIONAL NUTRITION MONITORING AND RELATED RESEARCH › Subchapter I— NUTRITION MONITORING AND RELATED RESEARCH › § 5316
When the President sends the annual budget to Congress, the President must also send a report to the House Committees on Agriculture and Science, Space, and Technology and to the Senate Committees on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry and Governmental Affairs. For each agency in the coordinated program, the report must show amounts spent in the most recently ended fiscal year, amounts expected this fiscal year, and amounts requested for the fiscal year covered by the budget. This does not allow spending more than would be allowed without the coordinated program, and it does not stop agencies from requesting or receiving funds for these purposes under other laws.
