Title 7 › Chapter 92— SOYBEAN PROMOTION, RESEARCH, AND CONSUMER INFORMATION › § 6301
Creates a national program paid for by fees on soybeans grown in the United States. The program will fund promotion, research, consumer information, and industry information to help the soybean industry sell more, keep existing markets, and find new markets and uses at home and abroad. Congress says soybeans are a nutritious food and an important animal feed. Many farmers and processors grow and use soybeans, and they are traded across states and countries. The program will coordinate and support existing state and national efforts. It will not control how much any farmer grows or limit a producer’s right to raise soybeans.
