Title 7 › Chapter 99— SHEEP PROMOTION, RESEARCH, AND INFORMATION › § 7103
Create one national order that covers people who produce, feed, import, handle, or buy sheep and sheep products. Only one such order can be active at a time. The Secretary or an association of producers can start a proposal. Within 60 days of getting a proposal, the Secretary must publish it and allow public comment. After comments, the Secretary must issue the order within 180 days of that publication. The order only takes effect if producers, feeders, and importers approve it in a vote under section 7105. The Secretary can change the order later.
