Title 7 › Chapter 32— PEANUT STATISTICS › § 956
Gives the Secretary power to make the rules needed to run this chapter and to work with federal, state, territorial, district, local governments, agencies, or any person. The Secretary can hire, fire, and set pay for staff as allowed by law. The Secretary can spend money for administration—like rent outside the District of Columbia, printing, phones, law and reference books, furniture, office supplies and equipment, travel, reporting services, and other necessary expenses. Congress must authorize the money, and funds from the Treasury may be appropriated as needed.
