You must provide three identical, signed photos when you apply for naturalization or citizenship. One photo will be attached to your original naturalization certificate and another to the duplicate copy sent to the Service. The same three signed photos are also required for seven kinds of applications, including a record of lawful admission for permanent residence, derivative or regular citizenship or naturalization certificates, special or replacement certificates, a new-name certificate after a court order or marriage, and a declaration of intention.
