Title 8 › Chapter 16— IMMIGRATION FEES › § 1805
Anyone applying for special immigrant juvenile status — the child, a parent, or a legal guardian — must pay an extra fee in addition to any other fees. For fiscal year 2025 the fee will be whichever is higher: $250 or a larger amount the Secretary of Homeland Security sets by rule. Starting in fiscal year 2026 and each year after, the fee will be last year’s fee plus an increase based on the percent change in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers for July compared with the prior July, then rounded down to the next lower $10. All fees collected go into the U.S. Treasury general fund.
