Antidumping Rate Set at 26.05%

Commerce amended its final determination to assign a weighted-average dumping margin of 26.05 percent to LG Chem, Ltd. and to "All Others" exporters and producers of certain superabsorbent polymers from the Republic of Korea. The amended margins apply in connection with the investigation covering October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021 and are effective December 27, 2024.

Revised Cash Deposit Instructions Issued

Because of the change to the rate assigned to all other producers and exporters and because LG Chem does not have a superseding cash deposit rate, Commerce will issue revised cash deposit instructions to U.S. Customs and Border Protection. These revised instructions relate to cash deposits tied to the amended dumping margins and are effective December 27, 2024.

Court Decision Not in Harmony Published

Commerce published a notice that the U.S. Court of International Trade's December 17, 2024, judgment is not in harmony with Commerce's Final Determination and, under the Timken line of cases, must suspend liquidation of entries pending a conclusive court decision. This notice was issued to satisfy Timken publication requirements.
