Notice
Summary
The U.S. Treasury’s OFAC just added some Venezuelan officials to its sanctions blacklist, blocking their property and banning Americans from doing business with them. This move, effective January 10, 2025, means any U.S.-based assets linked to these folks are frozen, tightening the squeeze on Venezuela’s government. If you’re a U.S. person, watch out—dealing with these individuals is now off-limits and could have serious financial consequences.
