Analyzed Economic Effects

4 provisions identified: 2 benefits, 2 costs, 0 mixed.

20‑Year Withdrawal of 1,043.57 Acres

If you hold or planned to acquire mining claims or mineral leases on the listed lands in Clark County, Nevada, about 1,043.57 acres are proposed to be withdrawn from location and entry under U.S. mining laws and from mineral and geothermal leasing for a 20‑year term, subject to valid existing rights.

Immediate 2‑Year Segregation Until Jan 15, 2027

Publication of this notice immediately segregates the described lands from location and entry under U.S. mining laws and from mineral and geothermal leasing for up to 2 years; the segregation period runs until January 15, 2027, unless the application is denied, canceled, or the withdrawal is approved sooner.

Mineral Materials Disposal Remains Allowed

The proposed withdrawal does not apply to disposal of mineral materials under the mineral materials disposal laws; the BLM says disposal of mineral resources through lease, license, or permit may be allowed if excess mineral materials are generated during development activities.

Temporary Permits May Be Allowed During Segregation

During the temporary segregation period, licenses, permits, cooperative agreements, or discretionary land‑use authorizations of a temporary nature may be allowed on a case‑by‑case basis if they comply with applicable BLM land use plans for the area.
