Payroll Records Moved Off MAPS
FERC is rescinding the Management, Administrative, and Payroll System (MAPS) (FERC-36) because it no longer uses MAPS. Payroll and personnel records formerly in MAPS will be maintained in the Federal Personnel Payroll System (covered by Federal Personnel and Payroll Records, FERC-57) and in PeopleSoft Financials (covered by Financial Management Records, FERC-56). Comments are open for 30 days after the January 15, 2025 publication date and, if no comments are received, the rescindment becomes effective at least 30 days after publication.
Employee Assistance Records Transferred
FERC is rescinding the Commission Employee Assistance Program Records (FERC-54) because FERC no longer maintains those records. Records of employees who sought Employee Assistance Program help (for alcoholism, drug abuse, job stress, family or emotional issues, etc.) are now maintained by the Federal Occupational Health Program in the Department of Health and Human Services. The rescindment was published January 15, 2025, with a 30-day comment period and will become effective at least 30 days after publication if no comments are received.
